My Disaster Quilt

I started this quilt back in August or September.
I love the fabric - its by Aneela Hoey.  Her fabric is so cute - I love it.  Anyway, I was going along with my new rotary cutter blade and took of the edge of my left index finger.  Thanks to my neighbor who helped me look at it and not pass out - as well as another neighbor who watched my kids for the 5 hours we were in the ER.
Here's me, 6 hours after the accident and with anesthetic in my finger - I'm so grateful for modern medicine.
And about one month later it looked like this.  I'm posting this to help me remember to be careful with my rotary cutter (ok, and I want a little bragging rights - I need to get something for all that pain)  I am so careful around the table saw and the chop-saw but I got a little too comfortable with my quilting stuff.
Anyway, I just started working on it again after a three month break (now that the PTSD is settling down).  At first I thought I was going to orient the blocks in the 4 x 2 pattern above...but now I'm thinking the 3 x 3 is so much better.  Which means I'll have to buy the last of the red Cherry Christmas fabric that is floating around on etsy.
